Capture One 22 and Sessions
I don't know if something has changed from C1-21 to C1-22 in regards to the way that Sessions are handled or if I simply do not understand the way the C1 is handling the loading of images. So I was working with one session, call it Session A. I then went to File->Open Recent and chose a different session. Call it Session B. When Session B opened it started loading all the images from Session A where I was previously working. Is that what is supposed to happen? In addition, all the previous edits that had been made to the images in Session B were gone. Plus images that had been deleted from Session B where added back in.
I am very confused as to what is happening and how C1 is handling sessions and the loading of images.

Adding to the above. I go into the finder to open Session B, double on it, it opens but loads all the images from Session A and none of the images that are supposed to be loaded from Session B.
Either I am massively mixed up (most likely) or there is something massively crazy happening with C1.

That sounds like a bug, a major one. I haven’t installed v22 yet, specifically to avoid the inevitable bugs that come with a new version. However, this seems like a severe one and I would file a support ticket for this to be addressed with priority.

So for the fun of it I started all over by creating Session B all over again. First I trashed Session B then recreated it adding the images from Session B but guess what, it also added all the images from Session A which are stored in a separate folder.

Check in Preferences, under General and see if Catalog & Session - Open in new window is unchecked.
Only thing that comes to mind at the moment.

Just as a test, I opened a couple of sessions (which I use very rarely), then closed them and created a new session with 3 images. I closed that and opened it and other sessions - and C1 performed as I would expect.
If Wesley's suggestion doesn't work (my "Open in new window" is checked) then go to C1 support. What you describe isn't happening here.
Good luck.

I checked the Catalog and Session preference and that box was checked. Thanks for the suggestion.
