Capture One 22: Folders in catalogue moved out of containing folders – ?

I keep my image files organized sub folders located in four main folders on an external hard drive. In the Library tool under Folders, the folder hierarchy used to be listed like this:

[hard drive]
- [main folder 1]
- - [sub folder 1a]
- - [sub folder 1b] etc.
- [main folder 2]
- - [sub folder 2a] etc.
- [main folder 3]
- - [sub folder 3a] etc.
- [main folder 4]
- - [sub folder 4a] etc.

For some reason, Capture One has now moved all the sub folders contained in three of the main folders into the root folder [hard drive], and these three main folders have disappeared (in Capture One that is, on the hard drive nothing has changed) – like this:

[hard drive]
- [sub folder 1a]
- [sub folder 1b] etc.
- [sub folder 2a] etc.
- [sub folder 3a] etc.
- [main folder 4]
- - [sub folder 4a] etc.

Any ideas why this would happen? And how to change it back? I've tried adding the main folders, but I can't, nothing happens when I add them.

    Hi Thomas,

    Did you try right clicking on your main folder and then, "Show Folder Hierarchy..." ?

    Thanks! That was it.

    I guess I must have somehow set it to "Hide …" without realizing.
