How to activate new account
It keeps taking me to the free trial account
Can't see where to enter my new License Key to activate my new account

The account (www.captureone.com) does not need a license, but the software does.
Please describe more thoroughly what exactly you did and what you observe when. And, do you have purchased a C1 license, or purchased a subscriptiond, or do you have a trial license, or a Express version license?

I'm sure it's something simple.
I purchase a monthly prescription for Nikon camera paying about $25./month.
I have three days left on the free trial version.
I tried to uninstall the stuff on my computer and install anew and then enter the 16 digit/letter code provided to activate the new account.
Each time I start Capture One it takes me to the trial version that I had been using.
I don't see any place to enter the new License Key code.

When you start C1 it shows you a dialog where you tried to put in the code? Could you put it in?

What do you meanby " it takes you to the trial version"?
There is only one installation setup file for C1, it is the full version, the functionality, camera brand version, trial version etc. is only controlled by the code.
Can you go to the menu item Help>License and put your code and account login credentials in?

The free trial version code is already in the box and it won't allow me to put in the new code.
Help then license
What I mean is....when I open C1 it tells me that I have 3 days remaining on my free trial usage......Then it asks me if I want to purchase .....and when I close that box......I'm in the free trial version that I signed up for about 3 weeks ago. I don't see any way to activate the new account.

I have a photo shoot in 4 days and the free trial runs out in 3 days.
I want to be sure I'm covered by just activating my new account now.

I got it figured out....you have to deactivate first.
