DAM of video files not possible as timestamp is not recognized by Capture One
Hi community,
Besides photos, I have lots of small video files from my mobile phone in my Capture One catalog. These are mostly .mp4 and .mov files.
Other than for photos, Capture One does not show the date of the video files.
This complicates the management of digital assets, as sorting by date is not holistically possible.
The files are ok as both, the file system information (via Finder) and any other applications (such as Lightroom) recognize the date of video files correctly. Only Capture One does not display it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for any video editing possibilities.
I just need Capture One to recognize the timestamp of video files in order to provide a holistic digital asset management.
How do you handle Capture One DAM with video files?
Cheers,
Andy

Hi,
I have the exact same question/issue, and am a bit surprised no one has come up with an answer. We can´t possibly be the only ones.
