Tired to wait for an hypothetic compatibility PENTAX 645z with C1
As LR was not recognized to be the best for Sony Raws treatment, I went to C1 last year. As I did that I realized once bought that C1 was not supporting Pentax 645z that I use in my studio. I think I read all posts related to that topic! I'm not 100% sure yet, but I might go back full Lightroom CC this year, even with for my Sony's files. Really pissed with that old fashion approach to blacklist potential competetion to protect Phase One. I'm confident that Lightroom will continue improvements, as recently with masks, and probably for tethered shooting one day.

The Pentax 645Z has been supported since C1 version 14.4.0.
Tethering is not supported but processing the images is.

Yes, you are perfectly right. I should have mentionned "shootingg tethered".

You could use the native Pentax tethering solution (Image Transmitter 2) and feed the images into a folder that is "watched" by C1.
Lightroom supports Pentax tethering, but I'm rather sure C1 never will.
C1 does not even properly read file names from Pentax files (and again, Lightroom does).I prefer C1 over Lightroom for a number of reasons but have no illusions about Pentax receiving any attention.

Thanks Class A for your comment. I can only agree with you and have no real illusions to tether Pentax 645z with C1, which is a shame. Anyway, 2 ends for my issu : or LR is getting better in Tethering (as they recently made a superb upgrade for post treatment) or I get rid off my Pentax to use C1 100%! Which i'm not prepared yet due to C1 position, backward thinking point of view.
