Cannot copy white balance settings when they exceed the limits
Hello,
I am using Capture ONE 20 , I am balancing UV induced fluorescence images using a reference target in scene, I am able to white balance a single image using the colour picker sampling a neutral patch in the standard; when I copy and apply the white balance settings to the other images I can see the Kelvin gooing to 14000 and Tint to 100 but the colour rendering is not the same, it seems that with the colour picker the values can exceed the 140000 and tint 100 while when applying the value after copying them they can't.
Unfortunately, I have done a batch of 1000 images before realizing that Capture One did not copy the setting right, now I have to correct manually all these images, deactivating the cropping also because I have cropped the reference standard :-( I was wondering if there is a way to correct this bug. The same happens using CaptureONE 20 CH.
Best reagrds,
Giacomo

Giacomo,
I recall (long before Capture One came to my life) trying to correct some images shot under some Mercury Vapour lights (with various other lighting types in the main subject area)
No two images were the same. A standard "fix" was not possible.
I am wondering if you are facing the same challenge. Or something similar.

Dear SFA, thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge, yes it's a complex task we are using a special workflow with UV colour checkers for calibrating the images. But in this case, is a limitation of the software because if I do it manually for every image It works. Best regards,G.
