Constand crashes when using masks and the magic brush tool

CP 22 crashes constantly when using the magic brush mask tool.

Like every few minutes. Just upgraded and already regret shelling out 210.- for it.

Also undo doesn´t work sometimes. Need to restart to get it going again.

Files I am working on are Pentax PEF raws.

  Same issue here. I'm doing a trial of version 23 and it has crashed 6 times so far when using the magic brush or magic erase brush. It usually crashes somewhere after the 5th or 6th additive stroke. Crashes on various types of camera make RAW images. I might stick to using Capture one 20 if this isn't resolved. 

  I've already sent in three crash reports.

  I've had that happen sometimes and I'm still on  v15.1.1, tho it rarely happens more recently.
  I think you need to be more careful how you brush. Firstly, wait until each stroke has finished calculating. Mostly it's instant but keep an eye on the timer in case it's taking a bit longer and don't keep brushing so you don't overwhelm it.
  Also, try not to brush across distinctly different areas in one stroke as I think this will send it into a spin. You might need to zoom in a lot to make sure your brush stays within the intended boundaries.
