C1 22 not auto import nor ejecting CF Express card from R5

The CFExpress cards from my Canon R5 are not automatically being recognized by C1 22 on my MacBook Pro (Monterey 12.2). The import module is not automatically opening and the Eject after Import button, while checked, is greyed out and is not auto ejecting the card. Pro-Grade card reader, USB-c.

Any thoughts or fixes?

  It's because of the way that MacOS treats CFExpress cards. I find the same with the CFExpress card from my Nikon Z6ii, and I know that Lightroom users find a similar problem. For some reason, MacOS mounts it as a drive instead of treating it in the same way as other types of memory cards. So, not Capture One's fault on this occasion. A nuisance, I agree, but not insurmountable.
