Capture One for Sony... for every camera!? How?

My company is paying for my subscription for C1 which I use on a Sony camera. Recently, we added another setup in the studio but we have a Canon camera instead. I would like to have the freedom to move around my stations, but for now I had to install two versions of C1, one for Sony and another one as trial for Canon.

From what I understood, now C1 works on every camera. But if I use the license I have for Sony on C1 22, it works as C1 (for Sony).

Any suggest?

  Upgrade your licence to Capture One Pro and you will be able to open pretty much all files - other than Hasselblad.

  You might possibly benefit from the special situation that C1 is no longer selling brand versions, I suggest to read this:

  Than you both guys,

  What BeO is saying is what I was trying to understand. There will be a free upgrade in April for Sony users. So for now I can use the 30 days key license for when I am with Canon camera.
