Is there a way to see all the User Collections an image belongs to?

    So that's a No?

    But a third party DAM application wouldn't show what  collections within Capture One an image was in, would it?

    When they pulled the plug on Media Pro, I had hoped that more of the features of MP might find their way into the DAM side of C1, but they didn't.

    @EtMRS

    Have you found a DAM (besides Media Pro) that does allow you to see at a glance all the collections/albums/catalog sets (whatever terminology is used) that an image belongs to?

    @Ian Wilson

    Yes, I'm finding it very frustrating.

    @EtMRS May I know what DAM you are using that has this capability?

    Thank you! Seems a bit buried but great to know it is there! I do have a paid license for PSu but have hit a few walls with it that prevented me from seriously pursuing. (So far anyway.)

    Oh I have a paid license already as I mentioned! But the trial is indeed very generous. My main issue with Photo Supreme is that (last I checked) it writes metadata directly to the file. I don’t want my catalog to touch my file until I tell it to. I also don’t want sidecar files if I can avoid them.

    Great tips, I will check it out. Thank you for taking the time to write all this out for me!

    To clarify, my ideal solution would store the info in the catalog, not in the source file or a sidecar.

    I’ll definitely give a closer look after completing my capture one trial (and apologies to C1 for hijacking their forums!)
