Images in Capture folder "lost"

I had an image from the Capture folder in the Viewer. I wanted to use the Focus Mask, entered option-f.  The results:  all my images in the Capture Folder disappeared from the browser; instead I got the message: No results found for 'f'.

If I right-click the Capture Folder and enter Show in Finder, the images are there in the Capture Folder.  Although I can access the images by clicking on All Images, when I click on the Capture Folder, all I get in the browser area in the same message.

This also happened in another session where I was working on images in a particular subfolder in Session Favorites. In this case, I got the same message, BUT all the images from that subfolder were indeed lost to Capture One. The only way I could work on them in Capture One was to re-Import the images for that subfolder from the SD card.

    This sounds as if you entered something in the search box of the browser, and no image fits this search string.

    Thanks.  I checked, and, yes, there is an "f" in the search box.  

    But up until reading your message just now, I didn't even know there was a Search Box.

    So, the mystery remains:  How did an "f" get in the Search Box when the only thing I did was enter Option-f in order to get the Focus Mask.
