Remove shiny spots on the face

How can I best remove the shiny spots on the forehead and cheeks on the face

    I'd say draw a mask in an adjustment layer that covers the face and then reduce the [High dynamic range] slider called "Highlight".  You can perhaps get away without a masked layer, but using one allows you to retain other highlights in the picture you want to keep.
