activation code unactivated

I have had licenses for several versions on CO the latest for 22. That doesn't run on my old iMac late 2012 OS 10.13.6 So I tried to download CO 20 while activating with te correct code it read that my code was unactivated??? How come???

    I'm not sure what you mean by "activating with the correct code". Once you have bought a licence for version 22, your licence codes for older versions are deactivated. If you want to run an earlier version, you can, but you must use your new code, not the one you used to use with that version in the past.
