Disable automatic switch to "recent captures" when tethered?

Hi all,

Simple thing: I have set an actual folder on my computer's hard drive as the capture folder. Assumption is that when taking a new picture, C1 displays the recent shot and the previous files in the set capture folder.  

Instead, what happens is that after every shot C1 automatically switches to show "Recent Captures" collection/album/whatnot, instead of keeping the view and the browser simply on the set capture folder.

Is there anyway to disable this? I just want to maintain the view on the folder i've created on  hard drive and that i'm shooting into.

This becomes especially an issue when some shots are registered as recent captures and some not. Perhaps this has something to do with the timed "create new recent capture collection" setting in C1 preferences?

Using C1 catalogs/collections/albums/sessions is not unfortunately an option in my working environment.

    I'm having the exact same problem. Has there been any response to this? I just want to stay in the folder that I assigned for tethered shots.
