The Open File Operation Failed

Upgraded from Capture One 22 Fujifilm to latest version on iMacPro. All files moved over just fine, when I try to import new files from card reader I get an error, “The Open File Operation Failed.” The open file operation failed to connect to the open and save panel service it says. After clicking “OK” a window pops up asking “Select where to backup files to.” But, this window freezes, I have to reboot.
Any help out there for this?
