C1 announced that in this update my software for Sony photos would start to work with all photos from other brands.

Have you deactivated the Sony-only version and reactivated with the "Pro" licence?

I have finally succeeded and it seems unnecessarily complex.

Every C1 update is a real adventure.

Is it really necessary to send a coupon (numerical key) to later award another license key?

C1 should understand that its users are photographers, professional or not, but photographers and not expert computer users.

But, "all's well that ends well" and I can't help but thank C1 who has given me an update that allows me to work with my old .Cr2 files in which I am discovering wonderful potentials and as if this were not enough , allows me to have another copy of the program on my third computer. It's more than what I bought.

Mr. C1, thank you very much.

The two are not - and should not be - mutually exclusive.

So are you going to explain the solution so that others can benefit?

Keith R, that they are not mutually exclusive concepts does not imply that they always go together. It seems to me that your answer is an attempt not to accept reality.

Indeed, I have tried to clarify it in my answer to the thread:

But I'm afraid that my computer clumsiness does not allow me to describe the solution accurately.
