Tether Issues

Please help! I can not tether to capture 0ne Been fine for a long time! mine is a 5DSR and it worked occasionally but now not at all! tried my 6dMK2 and it doesn't work either!! I downloaded the latest version 22 and the 5dsr finally worked so thought i solved it but once the battery died now it won't connect again. need to get a shoot done. BTW it works in Lightroom tether so it has to be the software? Any ideas??

    5DSR Has worked a couple of times again when restarting but mostly say's no lens information and or most images don't go through to the computer. Again 6DMK2 isn't working either which utilises a different cord so can't be that. IMAC PRO Running Monterey 12.3.1

    Take out the SD card.

    Thanks for reply but I don't us one as I'm tethered to the computer.
