Nikon z7ii tethered autofocus with Pilot?

I am struggling a bit with the autofocus settings on the z7ii to begin with. And, then I was playing with it tethered today, doing a lighting test and noticed that the autofocus was not updating if I used Capture Pilot.

Behind the camera, it updates when I press the shutter release. But, not when I press the release on capture pilot.

Am I missing a setting?

  My C1 does not see my Nikon z711 at all on my Mac desktop or laptop. I have updated my firmware on C1 and my Z711.  please help!!! I'm so disappointed!

  Might want to start your own thread about that to get better attention. This one is about the autofocus on the Nikon z7ii while using Capture Pilot.

  Thank you for letting me know. if I ever get connected I wonder if I will have your problem too. Auto focusing is a challenge too.
