LiveView with FujiFilm GFX 100S

Hello,

I have in the last couple of months been working with the FujiFilm GFX 50S and the newer GFX 100S. 

Capture speed is okay fast I the new CO22 v15.2.0.77 both for the 50S and 100S, but I can't get the 100S to do LiveView. The 50S do LiveView without problems.

I have tried this on a MBP M1 Max, MP tower "black trash can" with the an Intel chip, and a 15" MBP with Intel chip. All of them can shoot tethered just fine, but none of them will do LiveView with the 100S.

The LiveView window will say "camera does not support ptp".

 

I've also tried to instal the FujiFilm X webcam as someone mentioned this as a solution for getting LiveView to work with the 100S and CO22, but to no avail.

I have tried all my capture cables, which all are working with the 100S for tethering, but still no LiveView.

I have tried plugging into my powered Thunderbolt 4 hub as well as directly into the computer, same thing.

 

In CaptureOne's release notes they list the 100S as having both tethering and LiveView capability. On the CaptureOne forum I can see forum posts from 2021 where some members are saying they have LiveView functionality while most say they do not.

I would like to hear what other members are experiencing and if LiveView is working for you while shooting tethered with the 100S, and if so what equipment are you using, version of software etc.

    I'm also unable to get LiveView to work with my GFX 100S in Capture One Pro 22 on a 16-inch M1 Max.

    I run version 21 and live view works just fine with my GFX100s. The only pain is that I cannot fire the shutter under live-view. I have to go out of live view before the shutter button on the camera can be activated. On my Sony A9, I can fire the camera in live view mode which makes a better workflow.

    I have the same problem. Need to quit or pause live view before I’m able to use the on camera shutter button. Using an Gfx 50s II. Is there still no work around?

    Kind of pointless using GFX 100s with C1 as it won't do AF nor does it allow setting a focus point in the C1 Live View and when it is tethered you can't move the focus pint on the GFX LCD - hopeless. 

    Do the developers read these comments?  Its been 2 years.
