C key command triggering auto mid point on levels tool

Currently working with Capture One 15.2.0.77 on MacBook Pro running 12.3.1. Having an issue where I press C for the crop tool but some kind of auto adjustment is happening where the midpoint of the levels tool is hopping around. I’ve tried with multiple sets of key commands including the default and having the same issue. Any ideas? As a secondary issue that is not as big of a deal, the grid from the crop tool remains on, only on some photos, when the crop tool is respected. I might have 10 photos up to show but 1 will retain the grid.

    C is also the Speed Edit key for the mid-point on Levels.

    • For crop, just hit C and let go, and it should give you the crop tool.
    • For Speed Edit, press and hold C, then use the arrow keys to adjust the mid-point.
