No longer an advocate
I no longer mention Capture One to others. I no longer suggest it is worth using. I seldom use it anymore. I now regard Capture One as a doddling, fumbling, irritatingly underperforming piece of software. I was willing to overlook the clumsy and poorly implemented insistence on using either sessions or catalogs when that just makes post processing far more painful than it should be. Some may find that helpful. I find it annoying at best, I have been willing to overlook that. BUT
if you add the AWFUL attempts at new features which no one should use, with the feet dragging lack of support for the Z9 - it’s an impossibly painful program. Shame on you.

Maybe you need to learn how to use it - you clearly don't understand sessions, for example...
BUT
if you add the AWFUL attempts at new features which no one should use"No one"? Could you reissue the memo which confirms that you've been elected to speak for anyone but yourself?

This crap again?
OK, strap in - it's time to learn something. Never too late, and all that...
The problem isn't with Capture One, it's with Nikon deciding to buy in a closed, proprietary format for their compressed files:
And how is it therefore not a Capture One problem?

Nobody is fully supporting this format yet - not even Adobe!

Since the format that's used for the "high efficiency" Z9 files is 3rd party proprietary I wonder if the various software companies are hung up negotiating licensing agreements?
Ka-ching...
