    No - but thanks for playing.

    Capture One does not pre-announce updates - a policy it has operated from its earliest days, a fact which is restated at least once a day on here.

    Capture One supports CR3 files. My R6 creates CR3 files and I have no problem with them.

    Yes, but not all CR3 files are created equal. Even though they have the CR3 file extension, the files for each camera model are a bit different, so it needs support for the specific camera. (The same goes for other brands of camera - for example, all Nikons save as NEF files, but you still can't open the files for a camera that is not yet supported.)

    Capture One supports CR3 files. My R6 creates CR3 files and I have no problem with them.

    I shoot an R5 myself - supported since version 20.

    As Ian says - and Kevin, this really is basic, beginner stuff - just because a two cameras' files have a common suffix, that doesn't mean that the files themselves are in any way "the same" in profiling terms.

    Its the Canon R5C not the R5 🙂 I have talked to C1 and hopefully they will support the camera in juli.

    However, it's so incredible mind blowing and worrying this implemtation has taken so long?

    i think that Canon r5c camera was a major release and i sense loads of people are waiting for support.
