Adding/editing GPS metadata
How do other users go about adding and editing GPS metadata? So far I've used Lightroom to add GPS metadata to photos that didn't have such data embedded. I'm considering getting rid of Lightroom entirely, and I need to find a replacement for handling GPS data, one that will work well with Capture One for Mac. Any suggestions?

Me: Photo Mechanic (of course :-) I use C1 in session mode and PM+ works for me.
Edit to add: Sorry Thomas, I forgot to mention that I use Windows, but I strongly believe PM/PM+ will do just fine on a Mac.

Photo Mechanic! Works perfectly on my MacBook as "pre-importer" and "post-exporter". Culling, GPS, keywords, renaming and so on...
You won't find any faster App than Photo Mechanic!
If you just need to write GPS data from a tracker to files and not afraid to use the CLI, try exiftool

I guess any EXIF editor would work. Exiftool is very efficient, but needs to be skillfull in using the terminal. I don't use "Exif Editor" for doing that (I don't need GPS data), but it includes this possibility. It is just an "exiftool" GUI. But it's not free.

Thanks for your replies.
It sounds like I should give Photo Mechanic a try.

Thomas
I've been happy with HoudahGeo.

HI, I use NeoFinder on Mac for it. Called abeMeda for Windows. It will write the GPS data into the originals. No problem to read these edited photos until now. Photo Mechanic will write only XMP.

Thanks, I'll give NeoFinder a try too.
Photo Mechanic is overwhelming, feature-wise, but the interface is a bit clunky.
