How to change default catalog for Capture One Express
I have been experimenting with Capture One intermittently over a few weeks.
I imported two pictures for very basic testing as one of my first actions when trying out the application. These were stored in the default catalog (Catalog A), which I can find in my /Users/<myuser>/Pictures folder as Capture One Catalog.cocatalog.
I then started with a trial of the Pro version, creating a second catalog (Catalog B) in the process, which I stored in a separate location. I imported my existing Lightroom catalog, as well as a few thousand new pictures into this catalog.
By now, the Pro tiral has expired and I would like to see how the capabilities of the Fuji express edition differ. For this, I would like to use Catalog B.
However, anytime CO starts up, it opens the default catalog. When I select Catalog B during startup (using Alt key) and close CO with this catalog open, it always reverts back to the default catalog on startup.
Should it at all be possible to use my newly created catalog B as my default for Capture One express? If so, how can I make this a change that "sticks"?

The thing is that one of the limitations of the Express versions is that it can only have one catalog. Perhaps you need to delete Catalog A, or at least move it to a location that Capture One doesn't know.
