Please allow batch editing of metadata (without the extra steps)

Please introduce an option to batch edit metadata. As it is, you have to go through three extra steps in order to edit multiple images – click the Copy to button, select the fields to copy, click Apply. (Unless you’re editing keywords, in which case edits are applied directly without the three extra steps.)

If you’re making a single edit, the three extra steps are no big deal, but if you’re making a large number of edits, the extra steps add up to quite a lot of time.

    Agreed! I'm a recent convert from Apple Aperture. C1 is better in many ways, but I desperately miss Aperture's easy rapid editing of metadata in projects.

    One thing I got the hang of in Lightroom was copying metadata and captions from one image to several with three clicks. This would be useful. And to the poster above, I too preferred Aperture's way of doing things.

    I too miss this feature. Aperture had a number of very useful things, and batch editing is one. Go ahead and copy Aperture's useful things, C1, into your app. There's no reason not to! Make it better and better.
