Nikon Z9 - automatic aperture change when shooting tethered...

I was shooting tethered with the latest version of Capture (MAC) in studio. I had my Z9 set to manual. The aperture kept on changing automatically. It was very infuriating. I had to constantly keep an eye on the aperture and couldn't really focus on taking pictures. Please advise how to disable this feature.

    I've started this same issues shooting tethered with Nikon Z9 and Z8 cameras, any solutions?
