15.3: what happened to my presets and styles?

I just installed and opened 15.3 which required a web sign-in.

upon opening C! v15.3 & doing an import, I noticed none of my imported or made presets and styles were present. I do not recall other versions of C1 deleting my presets / styles.

Very displeasing, made all the moreso there was non warning prior or during install that was to happen.

Super bummer.

Are they recoverable, or simply to be found in some MacOS Library folder somewhere?

    Are you sure the files aren’t in the user/library folder for C1? I always back it up before updating

    Just checked. All gone.
    Luckily, I had the most important styles stored in a dropbox. I do not see any custom presets either.

    I do not recall any prior installation writing over those folders.

    lesson learned: back up Library:User Folder…
