Auto mask doesn't work most of the time
Hi,
I've been having this issue for a long time and I was hoping that newer releases would improve/fix that, however it still persists, so I'm reporting it here (with a video below).
When I try to create a mask with "auto mask" enabled, it frequently fails to work reliably. It usually works well on the first stroke, then fails on many of the subsequent strokes for no apparent reason.
It fails despite having clear and sharp boundaries between the stroked item and the background, not performing any boundary "cleanups".
I have given up on using auto-mask since it doesn't consistently meet my expectations, it simply fails too frequently, making it unusable for me.
See this video for example (if needed, I can provide more). I am running the latest Windows 10 x64 on an AMD 5800X (although this has happened to me on Intel processors too) with 64GB RAM and nVidia 3070Ti. This was a screen capture of Capture One 15.3 release.
Thanks,

Same here.
I haven't used it for I while, but when I recenty tried it did not work at all.
However It did work in the past with the same HW.
I'm using magic brush instead, but automask can be handy sometimes.Oops... [edit] When I switch of pen-pressure, it seems to work. Apparantly you can't have both at the same time.
Running v15.3.1 Windows 11. Wacom pencil0
