Load Metadata can be extremely slow
Load Metadata is extremely slow with a great number of images selected, whereas with just a few images it's reasonably fast.
E.g. with around 15,000 images selected, it takes about 20 seconds per image, and Capture One is very close to being unresponsive, whereas with 50 images selected it takes less than 10 seconds in all, and Capture One is nowhere near unresponsive.
Here's a screen recording of the Activities window with more than 15,000 images selected.
You see something similar when selecting a large amount of images, while Capture One has no trouble with a small selection.

Another strange thing is that if you deselect the images whose metadata you're reloading, Capture One all of a sudden goes through them at an incredible speed.
