Search box bug

PLEASE HELP. Posting this again because it's happening very consistently and I have no idea why. It's a MAJOR hiccup in my workflow and I'd love to get it sorted. Also I can't figure out where to report bugs anywhere else but here, I feel like there used to be a spot on the website but it's gone now.

When I interact with sliders, or select a style, or otherwise do something in the tool panel, it will sometimes (not always) select the search box. If I hit a keyboard shortcut after doing that it will put that character in the search box, which will clear my browser selections, and the image I am currently working on. I do volume work so this is a major pain as it will sometimes take a little bit just to find the photo I was working on again. I'm assuming this has something to do with how the search bar automatically closes itself now instead of layering on top of anything else that's open, which has bugged me forever and I'm super happy is fixed.

This is new behavior with the latest update. I can't figure out exactly what is causing this but it happens somewhat regularly. Anyone else? Sorry if that doesn't make sense lol.

    I am having this problem too.

    I use a lot of the shortcuts to make my edits and several times the letter of the shortcut goes to the search box.

    Very frustating indeed.

    It only happens when you have the file browser in the bottom, not when it is placed to the right.

    It happens any time that the search box is expanded. You can't collapse the search box on the bottom,.but I'd you shrink the browser enough when it is on the left or right it will collapse. Was really hoping this bug would be addressed in the last update, it's a huge wrench in my workflow.

    (with the search box expanded) A sure fire way to reproduce is clicking a tab to go to another tool tab.
    Another is selecting the value on the right of a slider and keying one in directly>enter.
    I don't see it when dragging or scrolling sliders.

    Luckily I use a small enough strip on the right for the box to collapse...
    Added it to the unofficial list of bugs.

    While not listed in the release notes, in first testing it seems to me this has been fixed in v15.3.3
