2 seconds delay in Preview

when I move to the next image it is taking around 2 seconds to preview the image. 

 In CO20, it used to be less than a second. I process thousands of images. so it is taking almost double the time comparing with CO20. 

Is there anything I can do to improve the faster preview generation?

    This is happening to me too. And it takes a few seconds to refresh if I do any adjustments, or draw a mask, pretty much anything.

    Is this in version 15.3? If so, have a look at this thread. Apparently, many users have issues with this version being slow.

    If you are talking about the generation of previews on importing, yes, it takes less than a second on my computer, about the same as with the previous version. But going from one thumbnail to another once the perview has been made doesn't take any time.

    During Import is fine. But this is happening when going from thumbnail to another.

    It used to take less than a second in CO20. But in CO22, it is taking around 2-3 seconds.

    If I move to next image and come back to previous image, it again takes 2-3 seconds.

    Really need help on If I can change any settings.

    Imac Pro (2017); 12.4 version; 32GB RAM; 3.2 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W
