Camera display turns black Canon EOS R5 live view - Camera unresponsive
When opening live view in Capture One 22, the Canon R5 display and viewfinder display turns to black. I need to close the viewfinder panel and take a capture before the display turns back on. The focus and release button are also unresponsive. This has never been an issue before I upgraded to the latest version.
The camera is connected through USB-C cable.
Could this be a camera setting?
Many thanks.

I have the exakt same issue with my EOS R and haven't figured out what it is. I have tried to pull the card out but it didn't help. I tried shooting tethered with the Canon software and it worked fine so I have narrowed it down to Capture One.

I've tried reinstalling C1 22, resetting the camera, removing computer preferences. Nothing worked. The issue still remains.
I even tried downgrading to C1 20, but the problem remains.
Did you find any solution yet, Oskar?

In the R5 camera settings>screen 7> Expo. Simulation> During will fix the problem.
