Successfully created an integrated catalog with my subfolders

I finally succeeded. Now my only remains problem is cleaning-up the mess from my failed attempts.

As you can see in the attached screen shot, my catalog sub-folders are organized by year. However there is an extra folder (22-07-14) from my previous failed attempt that I want to delete. What is the safest way to remove/delete (22-07-14) and the 1433 images contained in the folder? The 1433 images are also in the '04, '05, '06 etc sub-folder that I want to retain.

    Tried deleting about 50 images and encountered no problems, Bit the bullet and dumped the remainder 1380.  All is well.
