I'm 100% with you on Live needing improvements, especially not automatically synching. I have just used this for the first time since it went into production, and I've just been caught out with it not automatically synching. I've had the session open multiple times a day (and for long periods of time) since I shared the Live 5 days ago. I was waiting for my client to choose more photos as they had only selected 5. Happened to watch a video on Live today and it showed you have to resume it, I almost lost my mind. I went straight in, resumed and I now have 101 photos waiting there for me. Luckily I know the client well, and I've explained and apologised, but if it was for normal clients, this would have been a disaster.

    Hi David,

This was happening on the day of the shoot so the session was open we were shooting and the folder had been freshly shared. My clients in the States were wondering why I was not sharing and allowing them to follow the capturing. I had no answers. I tried refreshing and resending the link to no avail! Luckily they knew it was rubbish software development, and not my fault. I would have liked to have used capture pilot with a web share but this doesn't  seem to be working any more since the most recent upgrades....so I can see that capture one has made yet another monumental cock up fresh on the heels of the export tab debacle......one step forward two steps back!!!! Way to go @fastspring.com

Yeah, Captureone live is in the very early stages of what it will need to do.

I work as a digitech and lighting technician for the fashion industry in Milan, but I worked also in Paris and London and I never, repeat never, see someone to put all pictures in one folder on a commercial job..

So we need folders, as a temporary fix, Live should work like pilot, allowing us to share smart albums, like "all images" but the real deal will be mirroring the folder structure and letting the client browse them.

The filter should work throughout the whole session when the user is in the master folder and locally when in the nested folder. Yeah, the reverse in sorting will be good to have, also more options.

I did not have any issue with syncing, maybe my internet connections were fast enough.

Allowing the client to download all the pictures is a must-have, they should be able to download all session and single pictures/ folders with the name I give them. Of course as Digitechs we need to allow this or not.

Like the Ipad app (now has 2 star on the appstore) Live, at the moment, for professional usage, is mostly useless. I always shared my session live with pilot through proxy portforward or VPN, at least this way I can share all pictures  without putting all images in one folder.
