"Invert mask" on a duplicated mask not inverting.

Maybe there is something I'm not doing correctly, or is there a bug?

I created a mask on one Adjustment Layer and then made a new second Adjustment Layer and copied the mask from from the first Adjustment Layer. I then selected "Invert Mask". With the mask visible I can actually see the mask invert for a split second and then return to the original mask. I just tested on the original Layer and "Invert Mask" works as expected.

Is there something I should be doing differently, or can someone duplicate what I am seeing?

CaptureOne 15.3, Mac OS Monterey 12.4

    Try rasterising the mask before inverting it.

    They have fixed a problem in CaptureOne 15.3.1 where the Luma mask was not inverted correctly.
    I actually tried the same situation and it does invert.
    And no rasterization is needed to do it.
