Images can no longer be edited on the external hard drive
Could you help me with that issue? Its no problem directly on my iMac but a problem on my external drive / RAID. In the past it worked.
This applies to RAW, TIFF and JPEG. Reinstalling didn't help either.

Does Capture One have the necessary permissions to work with files on that drive?

Thanks for the answer.
Photoshop can use the files on the RAID. C1 can ony read and print. What is the possibilty to check Capture Ones permisson?

On a Mac look at the Security and Privacy tab in System Preferences. Look under Files and Folders, (and perhaps under Full Disk Access too). Does Capture One have the same permissions that Photoshop does? Specifically, is Removable Volumes checked?

Ian, it seems that the boxes are ticked ...

When you say "RAID", are you referring to a NAS (Network Attached Storage)?

I think it is. C1 worked with that. But something might have changed. I tried installing C1 again but with no success.

> TOM: I think it is
That is unclear, you think what?
There is a difference between a disk handled directly by your computer and a disk operated over a network. It has nothing to do with RAID. If the disk is a NAS, the NAS-box owns it and handles it. Your computer can only send requests over the network and get data back over the network. That may require other/separate permissions compared to the computer's own disk(s).

Hey Tom... das Raid als Festplatte über Informationen die Zugriffsrechte ändern. Schloss öffnen und dann kannste verwalten

@ SKY: danke für den Tipp. Alle Rechte sind da. Aber es funktioniert nicht.
@ Ian Wilson: all rights are in place. But it did not work.
@ OddS.: You are right, it was unclear. I checked and fount out it is not a NAS, just a raid. The iMac has all the rights and C1 can read and print but not edit.
I would be very happy for your help.

Are there any ideas to solve the problem before I move to Lightroom?

Enabling Full Disk Access for CaptureOne fixed this issue for me.
