command line - start given session and select a photo?

Hi,

Is it possible to start C1 with a specific session and select a photo for editing?

You mean captureone.exe <path_to_sessiondb> <path_to_image_file> or what?

There is supposed to be a SDK for Windows, but you may not find it useful, see posts in topic https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/360000583017-Development-and-Automation-Workflows-Capture-One-Plugin-SDK

The topic https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/360000616838-Development-and-Automation-Workflows-Scripting may perhaps have relevant threads, but I believe it is mainly Mac/AppleScript.

Thank you for the answer. I had already thought that Windows is still not really supported in scripting

Now I will try a look into SDK

I've been wanting to do this for a while, launching C1 from my asset management software (Adobe Bridge) and navigating immediately to the selected image previously imported in C1 but it is not possible. There are threads in this forum from years ago where other users asked for something similar.

Researching it again I have just learned that I can drag an image from my Adobe Bridge (or presumably any file browser on Windows) and drop it into C1's edit window, ...
- If C1 is already running AND
- If the appropriate session containing that image is open.
C1 will then select that image for editing. My previous edits made in C1 on that image are available

This will streamline my workflow a little compared with locating that image manually within C1. However I'd prefer to be able to right-click in Bridge, and choose Open With C1.

If the image is not already in the session, it gets imported. (So I need to have the right session open before I drag and drop).
