Wireless Tethering Canon R3
I'm having trouble connection to C1.
After going through the wireless set up for the Canon R3, the camera appears in the drop down menu in the tethering tab. When selecting the R3 the program hangs and eventually and I get a dialog box that says The camera could not be attached. The Canon EOS R3 is currently busy.
The events dialog box displays
Description: Tethering event: Camera is not open.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received

Hi Mark,
Any luck?
I have lost hair over trying Wifi Tethering with the R3 and C1. Basically I get either:
1. With EOS 3 Utility Open and/or EOS 3 Utility Menu App
"Description: Tethering event: Camera is not open.
Domain: com.captureone.captureone
Code: 11". The same Camera is Busy.
2. If EOS 3 Utility App or Menu App is closed I get:
"Description: Tethering event: Connection rejected.
Domain: com.captureone.captureone
Code: 11"
Camera Rejected the connection (or something similar)
Camera works fine with Wifi tethering using the EOS 3 Utility.
Using C1 16.1 (and tried on 16.0) running on MacOS 11.7.2 Big Sur - completely reset my MacBook Pro 4 weeks ago to see if it was an OS issue, but doesn't appear so.
Thanks in advance!

I have exactly the same issue...!
Also, when wired I get an issue:
Description: The request did not complete within the specified timeout period. The Camera did not respond within 10 seconds.
This can happen for several reasons. E.g.:
- Capture One does not support tethering for this camera brand or model
- Camera is not setup up correctly for tethering
- Camera memory card contains too many images. Removing memory cards could alleviate this issue

Looks like turning off EOS Utility and formatting memory cards has worked...but only for tethered shooting with a cable.
