C1 for iPad importing duplicates

I am currently testing the iPad version and noticed that on importing from the same card/camera into C1 for iPad when selecting 'all images' on the card that already existing images in C1 iPad get duplicated. I would expect that C1 iPad is capable of (or at least has a settings toggle 'not to import duplicates) recognising already imported images. I find it cumbersome having to select hundreds of new images on a card by hand in order not to get the already imported ones duplicated.

What do you think about that?
