Error with USB cable tethering, but not with wireless tethering on Sony

I'm experiencing a strange issue. I have both Sony a7Riv and a7iv. Both work wirelessly on the latest version of Capture One. But not with USB cable (USB C to USB A, via dongle to Macbook Pro M1 Max). I did of course change the PC Remote function from wireless to USB.

I tried Capture One 12, that I still own. And here the USB tethering works. 

So, it only occurs with the latest version of Capture One, that I can't tether with a USB cable. Is anyone else experiencing this?
