White Balance vs Light Source metadata

I feel I am missing something with the way CaptureOne handles the difference between White Balance and Light Source. According to the Exif specification the White Balance can only be two values, Auto or Manual. a "0" or "1". Light Source is where we can set the type of light we are using. Auto, Daylight, Fluorescent, Tungsten, or even some custom sources. 

With CaptureOne these light source values are in the dropdown for White Balance, which seems wrong. The values for White Balance are synced with the Light Source values in the resulting TIFF metadata, but they should be separate, right? What am I missing?
