Capture One 22 doesn't support Mojave. Could that be the reason?
See the table of supported MacOS versions here.

Although Capture One 22 doesn't officially support Mojave, I'm successfully running it on 2 Mojave machines—a 2019 MacBook Pro and a 2012 Mac Pro. Everything works smoothly (a bit slow on the 2012) except for Auto Rotate and Auto Perspective (which don't seem to work at all and are not of concern to me).
One change that might effect you is the new support for Metal (instead of OpenCL). You might want to try turning off Graphics Acceleration.
Suggestion: Uninstall and reinstall Capture One (you might want to deactivate it first).

The thing is that when the OS is no longer supported, some users may get away with it, and some may not depending on their exact set-up. And while it may have worked with 15.3.1, it wouldn't guarantee it would still work on 15.3.2.

I totally agree, Ian. That's why I test each new version on a copy of my catalog before using it "for real" and I caution people against using it on an unsupported OS. Indeed, 15.3.2.11 could well be the last version I'll use for a while, as I don't plan to buy new machines for another couple of years and I'd be surprised if my luck with the current version extends to the next version (which I suspect will require Big Sur or later). It's also why I pointed out the detail about how C1 changed graphics support.
