Help! Cant open any session after installing C1 22

I got a new macbook pro M1max and freshly installed C1 22. I cannot open any previous sessions, saying i need read and write access, which i think i have. I just installed C1 21 also and tried to open various sessions... cant open them, saying it was saved by a newer version... any ideas? Thx!
