Got files from a Photographer from a Google Drive link and all the settings were missing

FirstName LastName

Has anyone had experience with this. The client had used Capture one and there was only x1 sidecar .xmp file, but everything was the wrong colour temp and no other settings. Normally even without the sidecar files if they were done in Capture, the settings still come with it. Maybe a Google Drive thing?

    Hardly.

    You got multiple image files and one .xmp file. You are a Capture One user, what did you expect?

    Capture One creates xmp sidecars when the user synchronizes metadata from the C1 database to file. The user may do that manually or use the auto sync feature. Regardless, there will be no adjustments in that file. Your source and you better read up to learn how to package image files for transfer between C1 installations.
