Allow creating or choosing a user collection on import

Currently you need to highlight a user collection before stating an import in order to have the import included in that collection. You must create a new one before import.  It would be most useful to be able to choose an existing collection or create a new one from within the import dialogue.

    That would be a great improvement indeed. It is super annoying to have to close the import dialog just because you forgot to select a user collection beforehand.

    I highlighted exactly this in many forums with Capture One and also in one of the Feature Requests as well. Also need to bring in Metadata Tool from Metadata Tool Tab for IPTC data update instead of just taking Copyright and Description.

    Being able to add keywords would be helpful too

    I would also like to see this together with the meta data tab so I can add text manually or use tokens and keywords tab for adding keywords in the import dialog.
