How to find files

Running C1 22, I can see my files in the recent import tab but nowhere else. I have screwed up somewhere but have no idea what folder they are in. Have I imported them into the catalog? If I have, what can I do to get them into the folder that they should be in?

If I sound confused, I am.

  Thanks John. Apologies for being sufficiently specific. I have always used referenced images, and never knowingly copied anything to the catalog. I normally have my images visible in folders in the folders drop-down. Normally, I import directly from my SD card, however, these images came off a OneDrive folder. My assumption is that I have screwed it up. If so, I'd really love to know how to get them out of the Catalog and back into folders.

  Do it all in Capture One, not in Finder.

  First make sure the folder you want to move them to is added to the catalog - use the + button in the folders section to do that if needed. Then just drag and drop images from the In Catalog section to the folder you want.
