PhaseOne P65+ not working with New MacBook Pro M1 Max
Hi.
I'm having issues connecting my PhaseOne P65+ to my New MacBook Pro 16" M1 Max.
I use a Mamiya RZ67 ProII. I have had this set up for 10 ish years and love it.
I usually tether to my 2019 iMac Pro. I use a dedicated Lindy Firewire 800 repeater. This has proven much more stable vs the OWC or Belkin hub and my P65+ almost never give me issues. I have 3 brand new FireWire 400-800 cables from DT and multiple adapters. Yes I do need to use a ton of adapters to make this work, but has never had a problem with my 2019 MacBook Pro. For Capture I use Capture One 12.
I just got a new MacBook Pro 16” M1 Max. My P65+ back does connect fine via my Lindy repeater, but the captured files will not come in. Well it looks like they get stuck like little orange lines in the capture circle.
So my question is: Does the P65+ not work with computers with the M1 chip? My assistant also had his MacBook M1with him and had the same issues. (We also tried to use Capture One 22 without any success.)
I personally don't think its a iMac vs MacBook Pro issue. The Lindy is a AC powered repeater which provide a stable strong voltage and have always worked well with my older MacBook Pros (late 2015).
Please let me know if you have any ideas.
Thanks
Bjarne

I just got a response from Digital Transitions and apparently the P65+ does Not work with the M1 chip. As I suspected.
I figured it was Either that or Monterey giving issues.Best OS to run a P65 is according to DT Big Sur.
