It is likely not a security issue. I am still waiting for Kamil's description of the actions taken under the "etc" term.

    To summarize with more info

C1 was working fine on this workstatnion for last 3 years

I installed C1 on new laptop (small ultrabook just for traveling, only to dump pictures from camera).

Few days later on workstation i got this message (something like "looks like your license is invalid")

Probably cuz i haven't deactivated license on other two older laptops.

After i got this message C1 switched to window with picture and "let's get started" button (just like fresh install)

Click -> and login page opens in web browser

After clicking "login" web browser goes to localhost port 57949

Page is not loading with info that it's not secure, that local host send incorect response and "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"

    Than things i tryied:

    1. Reset all activations on C1 web account

    2. Reinstall C1

    3. Diferrent web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)

    4. Deactivate security in Chrome

    5. Uninstall Kaspersky, deactivate windows AV/FW

    Nothing changed

Stop any web server running on your computer.

Flush (clear) the cache in your web browser(s).

    Flush the DNS cache.

Make sure you have a direct (proxy free) connection to the internet

If problem persists, verify the content of the hosts file.

I had to disable whole IIS in windows to make it work

Now i have to repair my work developement enviroment ...

I think this has to be changed.

Thera are People that has business laptops (not personal) and can't change anything without IT department

The activation process method is too prone to other software that is used on computer, very not user friendly

Thanks for the feedback, Kamil. The  Microsoft web server (IIS) with its environment has quite a few tunable settings. I am not an IIS expert, but I believe it should be possible for IIS to work without interfering with a web client that targets a server outside your local network. Microsoft may be able to help.
