Tethered shooting with second monitor, Viewer window enhancement
My tethering workflow is
- 1st monitor (Main Window) to edit files while the session is ongoing
- 2nd monitor (Viewer Window) for realtime client proofing.
The "Viewer Window" Problem is
- When "Auto Select New Capture" is set as "Immediately" or "When Ready" from the "Camera" menu, my client will be able to live proof the latest tethered photo from the viewer window. However, my main window will also jump to the latest tethered photo, causing my process of editing prior files must be stopped.
- When "Auto Select New Capture" is set to "Never", I can edit prior photos in my main window smoothly but my client can’t preview the latest tethered photo.
I would like CaptureOne to have multiple tethering modes as follow:
- The viewer window (on 2nd monitor) is not linked with the main window (on 1st monitor) and have an "AUTO select the latest captured photo" option in menu. This facilitates the process, which the I can process the previous photos in the main monitor, while my client can preview the latest photo in the viewer monitor simultaneously.
- The viewer window (on 2nd monitor) can be locked to a specific photo. This means a "LOCK" viewer to a specified photo, as same as a "Loupe Lock" on the secondary window in Adobe LrC.
