I don't know why this received a downvote. The possibility to interact on a live chat portal like discord could easily grow in popularity and help users.

    Yeah, this forum is atrocious.

I usually go to davinci resolve's official discord server when I have specific question and the real time interaction is really helpful. You can have the chance to be corrected or explain yourself better when in chat mode than posting.

I also go to Adobe's official discord server and it is also a very great service that adobe created. Maybe creating a discord server adds additional man power but maybe just adding a temporary basic discord server would be a good start. Just capture one users helping each other while also having some rules and reporting features.

    Yeah, this forum is atrocious.

This forum is the user community: if it's "atrocious", that's your fault.

There is literally nothing to stop that happening right here.

.. and by the same logic, there is literally nothing to stop a Discord server being made.

A chat room is a very different platform to a forum, and facilitates a different kind of interaction. Anyone who has used both would know that.

You are telling forum users they could be having the exact same experience here (and attributing the blame to them if not the case).

I think that's an unnecessarily dismissive stand to be taking.

Clark, just ignore Keith R. He's the community troll that feels the need to insert himself everywhere with a-hole comments. That's kind of what my comment was referring to. If this forum wasn't so atrocious in terms of lack of features, one could actually block and report such trolls. Alas, all we can do is not to feed them.

SFA, yup, I do but you're also familiar with the expression: "just because you can, doesn't mean you should". And you know exactly what I'm talking about here when it comes to Keith R. His comments are rarely ever welcome.
